Francisco Nuno Rodrigues (b. 2001, Funchal, PT) is an artist and filmmaker based in Lisbon, Portugal. He studied Fine Art at Falmouth University (Falmouth, UK) and holds an MA in Media Art from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (Lisbon, PT). His work has been presented in galleries, festivals and independent art spaces, including FEST – New Directors | New Films Festival (Espinho), Livraria Aberta (Porto), Dupla Cena 77 (Lisbon), and VAGA – espaço de arte e conhecimento (Azores). In 2025, his debut short film, O Leite das Monarcas, received the Young Talents Prize from the Cecília Zino Foundation, followed by an Honourable Mention at the National Grand Prix of FEST – New Directors | New Films Festival in 2026.
Currently, Francisco is interested in probing the historical and emotional narratives embedded in the family archive.
