Francisco Nuno Rodrigues

Francisco Nuno Rodrigues is an artist and filmmaker based in Lisbon, Portugal.

His work provokes intimate moments of friction where documentation, narrative, and desire grind against one another. He approaches moving image as a confessional: an alternate space where, through tender cycles of vulnerability, destruction, and transformation, identity is both excavated and revealed. O Leite das Monarcas, his debut short film, extends his ongoing research into the possibilities of refusal, through an exploration of the family archive as myth.
